Quick Safety offers a secure, validated and transparent digital solution for compliance within the electrical industry. Electricians use the Quick Safety app to quickly and easily complete Certificates of Compliance, reducing risks to electrical contractors and asset owners.
Quick Safety is focused on safety. Through our innovative technology we aim to ensure the public, contractors, electricians, asset owners, and their assets are kept safe by using our innovative safety compliance app, Quick Safety.
Working directly with the Founder/CEO, you will lead the day to day marketing of Quick Safety and its core product offering. We are looking for a progressive thinker who can develop innovative, cutting-edge marketing strategies. Being accountable and working independently to deliver these strategies, you will also be part of a small team all working towards a common goal.
Education, Experience, Job Knowledge and Skills
A tertiary qualification (ie. Certificate, Associate Diploma, Degree) in Marketing or Communications or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
5 years minimum as a Senior Marketing Manager
Experience in the Electrical Contractors industry is highly desirable but not essential.
A high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite in particular Outlook and experience in using on-line software and applications.
Ability to develop, implement and maintain innovative and effective marketing strategies to increase awareness and sales of the Quick Safety product offering.
A high level of understanding of common Social Media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator and how to effectively use these platforms as communication tools.
Excellent oral and written communication and numeracy skills. An excellent level of grammar, composition and written punctuation. Copywriting and content development skillset would be highly desirable.
A knowledge of ActiveCampaign (CRM system) would be highly regarded but not essential.
Experience in videography would be highly regarded but not essential.
Briefing and working with an external agency to bring your strategic marketing strategies to life, ready for you to implement and monitor.
Working with an external agency to develop marketing collateral.
Create content to communicate the organisational message and compel the end-user audience or customer to act.
Writing social media content and developing content calendars to promote key topics, including posting to various platforms as required.
Website updates using a content management system.
Identify suitable tradeshows and industry events to showcase our product.
Attend tradeshows and industry events as required.
Provide support in developing quotes, tenders and pitches.
Developing and writing presentations for potential customers.
This role is based full-time on the Sunshine Coast. However, for the right person, we are willing to consider applicants who wish to work remotely with 1 day per week required to attend the Sunshine Coast office. This arrangement would require the successful applicant to be based on the Sunshine Coast full-time for the first 3 – 4 months to allow for a full understanding of the business and its operations.
